Research and Transfer Support Office supports individual scientists and research teams at TU Wien in various research and transfer activities.
A major aim of TU Wien's social mission is the transfer of its research-based knowledge and competence to society for public benefit. Another essential objective of the Research and Transfer Support Office's activities is the national and international positioning of TU Wien as an excellent research institution.

Patents- & Licencing

Die Mitarbeiter_innen des Bereichs „Patent‐ und Lizenzmanagement“ unterstützen Erfinder_innen der TUW bei Patentanmeldungen und beim Patentmanagement ebenso wie bei der Umsetzung und Verwertung von Erfindungen.

The staff members of Patent and Licence Management support inventors of TU Wien in filing patent applications and in patent management, as well as in the implementation and exploitation of inventions.

R&D Contracts

Die Mitarbeiter_innen des Vertragsservice beraten und unterstützen Sie bei der Gestaltung und Verhandlung von F&E Verträgen und Kooperationsverträgen mit Unternehmen.

Contract Services staff members offer advice and support in drafting and negotiating R&D agreements and cooperation agreements with companies.

Funding Support

We support individual scientists and research teams at TU Wien in the acquisition of third-party funds from idea to successful granting of research proposals in order to position TU Wien as an outstanding research institution both nationally and internationally.

Funding Support for national funding programmes helps TU Wien researchers at the initiation and application phase of a project. We support them in the correct formal implementation of scientific projects via individual consultancy, online information and information and networking events.
