Employees of TU Wien are automatically registered with the social insurance institution from the first day of employment, in accordance with their employment contract. An e-card can only be issued if a photo has already been registered. Employees who do not have Austrian citizenship must make an appointment with the competent e-card registration office , öffnet eine externe URL in einem neuen Fensterto submit their photo. Once the photo has been registered, the e-card will be issued. If you need medical treatment before receiving your e-card, you can visit a doctor by presenting your social security number and a valid form of identification.
