International Welcome and Engagement Center (IWEC)
Summer Semester 2026 Program
Starting in January 2026, international degree-seeking students can participate in an online orientation session. Attending the session at the end of January is strongly recommended, as it provides important organizational and academic information and should ideally be completed before arriving in Austria. Registration is now open.
In addition, two in-person welcome events will take place at the beginning of the semester in Vienna. Students are encouraged to participate in at least one of these events. During the welcome sessions, all essential information will be provided on site, and students will have the opportunity to meet fellow students, ask questions, and begin building their network.
The program is further complemented by guided city tours, cultural activities, and social events designed to help students explore Vienna and settle into student life. The program is continuously being expanded.
