Renewable Energy Talk - Prospects for hydrogen and fuel cell vehicles

Podiumsdiskussion

The Renewable Energy Talk serves to discuss recent topics and trends in the renewable energy sector with experts in their respective fields. They are great events for networking and getting to know fellow students, alumni and lecturers of the TU Wien in general and of various courses of the Continuing Education Center specifically.

Doors open at 6 pm for a first get-together and networking. Talks will start at 6.30 pm.

Prospects for hydrogen and fuel cell vehicles with contributions from

  • Amela Ajanovic (TU Wien)
  • Michael Harasek (TU Wien)
  • Mortimer Schulz (Solutions in Energy e.U.)

The talk is chaired by Academic Director Reinhard Haas (TU Wien).

The transport sector is the worst part of the energy system with respect to C02 emissions and dependance on fossile fuels. One possible solution could be fuel cell vehicles based on hydrogen produced from renewable energy sources.

At this event experts and practitioners discuss the prospects and impediments for this technology in Europa and world-wide.

After their speeches the experts are available for questions and discussion and Energiepark Bruck and TU Wien would like to invite you to a reception with drinks and snacks.
