Forthcoming Events

Our research team is constantly involved in specialist research projects, many involving collaboration with other esteemed scientists and institutions.  We frequently host one off lectures on topics relating to variational analysis, dynamics and operations research.

In term-time, we host different speakers at our weekly AKOR seminar.  Seminars take place most Thursdays at 3pm in Sem. R. DB gelb 04 Upcoming topics and speakers will be posted below.

International Conference

The Viennese Conference on Optimal Control and Dynamic Games generally takes place every 3 years.

The 15th Viennese conference took place in July 2022 and attracted 200+ mathematicians from around the world to present and share their work.

50 Years of OR

On 14th October 2022, friends and colleagues met to celebrate 50 years of Operations Research at TU Wien.  Share in some of their reflections and memories.

 

3rd Austrian Calculus of Variations Day 

The Austrian Calculus of Variations Day, already at its third edition, was hosted by TU Wien on 23/24 November 2023.  It is an informal workshop, aimed at giving an overview on current research on calculus of variations and optimization in Austria. Participants from all Austrian research institutions are welcome to present recent and new results, even not yet published.
