On Wednesday 10 June 2026, students of the course 389.232 “Wave Propagation”, researchers at the Istitute of Telecommunication and researchers at the Institute of Electromagnetics, Microwave, and Circuit Engineering were invited by the Austrian defense forces to visit the military airport located at Langenlebarn in Lower Austria. Focus topics were avionics systems on-board of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, as well as the airport surveillance radar, and precision approach radar.
