Title: Characterization of Millimeter-Wave Channels in Vehicular Scenarios

Abstract:

The talk focuses on the characterization of wireless propagation channels in millimeter-wave bands with emphasis on V2X scenarios. It addresses path loss modeling and channel parameters in the delay and Doppler domains, including their temporal variations. Environmental impacts on mmWave propagation are also discussed, particularly attenuation, reflection, and scattering caused by vegetation under various weather conditions. The talk further outlines the architecture of broadband channel sounders used for high-resolution directional and temporal channel characterization.
