Some 40 Students of the lecture „wave propagation“ and institute members were invited for an on-site visit at the military airport Hörsching/Linz.

The state-of-the-art avionic electronics aboard the Agusta-Bell 212 transport helicopters and VHF/HF comms were shown as well as the C-103 Hercules systems.

From a distance, we also saw one of the mobile RAC 3D medium range 3-D radars.
