CV: Sascha Hunold originates from Merseburg (Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany) and has studied Informactics at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. In 2009 he was awarded his doctorate at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) with the thesis "Evaluation der Leistungsfähigkeit von gemischt-parallelen Programmen in homogenen und heterogenen Umgebungen unter Berücksichtigung effizienter Schedulingstrategien, opens an external URL in a new window" [in German]. In the year 2015 he successfully applied for a tenure-track position at TU Wien. In 2019 he obtained his Venia Docendi, thus qualifiying him to teach in the area of Informatics with the habilitation"Benchmarking and scheduling on parallel machines, opens an external URL in a new window".
