FWF SCHRÖDINGER-Program & Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions alternatives

April 13, 2021, 1:00-3:00 p.m

The Schrödinger-Program, opens an external URL in a new window has the highest success-rate of all FWF-programs (40%). This attractive program promotes scientific work at leading foreign research institutions; helps to gain experience abroad during the postdoc-phase, facilitate access to new scientific areas, methods, procedures and techniques. For the first time, we will also present complementary Marie Skłodowska-Curie-Actions.

TU Wien’s Funding Support offers training courses where you get information about Dos and Don’ts focusing on proposal preparation. Successful TU Wien researchers will share their experiences, too. The event will be held in English.

Regional Funding Programs for Applied Research: A Look at Funding Programs in Vienna and Lower Austria.

April 27, 2021, 3:30-5:00 p.m. 

We will take a look at funding opportunities for application-oriented research projects in Vienna and Lower Austria. The offers range from support for the for the initiation phase to open-topic and topic-specific R&D calls for cooperative projects between science and industry, to programs where the costs of a university are eligible as third-party costs (contract research, consulting services). The event will be held in German.

High Potentials in Research: Funding Programmes for Excellent Science

We invite you to the "Online High Potentials in Research Day@TU Wien" where you learn more about the upcoming excellence in science funding programmes: FWF START and ERC Starting and Consolidator Grants. Services for successful applications offered by FWF, FFG and TU Wien will be presented. Furthermore, insights into successful applications and experiences will be given by TU Wien's grant holders. 
In the morning session we will present FWF-programmes in depth whereas in the afternoon session we focus on ERC starting and consolidator grants. The event will be held in English.
