We are inviting you to attend the upcoming event of Forum TU Vision 2025+:

"Engineering Science with Impact”

Lecture by Johann Kollegger, head of the research programme for Reinforced Concrete and Solid Construction

In the summer term, TU Vision 2025+ is dealing with the impact of technical developments and innovations on different areas of society and is thus featuring the role of engineering science and technology as a pioneer and facilitator of processes for change.

As an introduction to the topic, Johann Kollegger, head of the research programme Reinforced Concrete and Solid Construction, will explain how engineering achievements can be transformed into sustainable innovations, driven by the aspiration to best meet society’s challenges. Innovations like these, eventually, enable us to showcase and measure the real value of engineering science.

Surrounded by Technology, 2.0

Excursion to the Technical Museum with a special tour of the exhibition "Work & Production"; followed by a talk with Christopher Lindinger, Ars Electronic Futurelab (Director of Research & Innovation)

Due to the success of last years visit to the Wien Museum, TU Vision 2025+ is offering the opportunity to visit the temporary exhibition "Work & Production" with an evening tour, followed by a talk by and discussion Christopher Lindinger, Director of Research & Innovation at Ars Electronica Futurelab, about the importance of innovation and its significance in the daily routine of researchers, as well as the historical context.

When? Tuesday, 28th May 2019, 6:30 p.m.
Where? Technisches Museum Wien, Mariahilfer Straße 212, 1140 Wien (Meeting point in the foyer)

No entry fee!
