TU Wien (Vienna) and TU Dresden hold successful inter-university workshop on construction research

On 05 September 2023, experts from the field of construction management research met for an inter-university workshop at the TU Wien (Vienna). The event offered an insight into the research activities of the TU Wien (Vienna) and the Institute of Construction Management of the TU Dresden.

The event extended from 13:00 to 17:00 and provided an insight into the work of the institutes. TU Dresden, which is one of the oldest institutions in German construction management, was represented by Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Jens Otto, Professor of Construction Management, and Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Katharina Kleinschrot, Professor of Construction Process Engineering and Circular Value Creation.

Univ.-Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr.-Ing. Frank Lulei and his assistants from the Institute of Construction Process and Construction Economics presented current research projects and long-term goals of the institute during the workshop. This exchange provided a valuable opportunity for the promotion of construction operations research and inter-university dialogue.

The workshop on construction operations research at TU Wien (Vienna) and the cooperation with TU Dresden underline the importance of inter-university cooperation in research and development in the construction sector.
