In 2025, the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformation will once again be organising GEO-Day and Online GEO-Week:

GEO-Day on 3rd of April 2025

The department's open day once again offers an insight into the exciting world of geodesy and geoinformation. The morning is once again reserved for school classes. Here the pupils visit various stations and playfully explore the findings of our research areas. In the afternoon, prospective students and all those who want to gain an insight into the professional world of geodesy and geoinformation will get their money's worth. A large number of companies from the sector, job and internship offers, as well as information and advice on the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Geodesy and Geoinformation await visitors.

Online GEO-Week on 27th to 31st of January 2025

Two months earlier, school classes from grades 9 to 13 will be able to gain insights into surveying, earth observation, laser scanning and much more via online presentations. Our scientists are already looking forward to presenting their research on dates selected by the teachers.

The registration period for both events is expected to start on 9 January.
