Housing is becoming more expensive - students are feeling this more and more. In addition to the general rise in energy, food prices, rental prices are also increasing. And with disastrous consequences: Students now spend 43% of their monthly budget on their shared room or flat. Two thirds of students work, many of them more and more, in order to cover the cost of rent. Solutions are urgently needed here.

Arbeiterkammer Wien (AK), in cooperation with the Österreichische Hochschüler_innenschaft (ÖH), has collected current data on the housing situation of students.
Together with student representatives, AK experts and academics, we look at where the most pressing problems lie and what fields of action there are.
