Electron microscopic investigation with entangled quantum pairs

Combining two worlds:
Quantum electron microscopy

Zooming in to the ‘pixels of reality’: electron microscopes make it possible. However, they are unsuitable for particularly sensitive samples. With a quantum optical trick, a Viennese research group wants to circumvent this problem and set new standards in high-resolution microscopy.
