QA4SM is in the ESA headlines... again!

The global soil moisture community is showing enthusiasm for the "Quality Assurance for Soil Moisture" (QA4SM) tool developed at TU Wien.

The Researh Unit Climate and Environmental Remote Sensing of the GEO Department at TU Wien is developing the "Quality Assurance for Soil Moisture" (QA4SM) online validation tool. This tool being developed as part of the "Fidudical Reference Measurements for Soil Moisture" (FRM4SM) project, which is funded by the European Space Agency (ESA).

QA4SM enables the users of satellite soil moisture data products to rigorously assess their quality using global reference data. From June 4-7, Alexander Gruber and Wolfgang Preimesberger attended the 7th Satellite Soil Moisture Validation and Application Workshop in East Lansing, Michigan, USA, and successfully introduced QA4SM to participants from all over the world.
