Mobility festival in the Fluchtgasse - we were there!

With the sun shining and whilst enjoying live music, we talked about our Mo.Hub project with some of Alsergrund's interested and active residents.

On Friday, 10.09.2021, car traffic in the Fluchtgasse in Alsergrund was temporarily shut down. Instead of traffic noise, only conversations around the topic of mobility could be heard.

Our Mo.Hub, opens an external URL in a new window project was also discussed on site. The following points were addressed in particular:

  • What is Mo.Hub about?
  • What is planned?
  • How can you get involved?
  • What ideas and needs do you have?

Finally, Stefan Melzer (MO.Point, opens an external URL in a new window) and Herbert Bork (stadtland, opens an external URL in a new window) summarised everything at the Streetlectures, where other mobility initiatives also reported on their activities.

Furthermore, there was also an exciting programme for the little ones and the older ones could test ride a cargo bike themselves, so there was no chance of boredom. Of course, delicious cake and drinks as well as musical entertainment were also provided. Another treat was the quiz on mobility in Alsergrund - participants could win practical prizes such as a bicycle helmet and a voucher for a bicycle repair, all in the spirit of sustainable mobility.
