"As a project assistant at the Institute of Mechanics and Mechatronics, I got an excellent insight into the energy sector and the connection to modern control engineering during my dissertation and as a post-doc, which I was already very enthusiastic about back then.

Through learned structured, innovative and analytical thinking, I am always interested in equipping my power plants with more automation and modern control technology to make them even more efficient and environmentally friendly. That's why I acquired SPOT, a robotic dog from Boston Dynamics, in 2021 as part of a research project. This means that I can now also anchor competences in the field of industrial robotics in my generation plants.

The excellent technical and personal training and support at TU Wien has given me the "necessary tools" to be successful and sustainable in my current management position as head of the Simmering and Donaustadt power plants. I am very grateful to have used the opportunities and competences of the institute to now be able to manage the most important electricity and district heating hub of the city of Vienna, to develop it further and to lead it into the energy future".
