The Vienna University of Technology has been researching, teaching and learning in the service of progress for around 200 years. TU Wien is one of the most successful technical universities in Europe and is Austria's largest scientific and technical research and educational institution. A successfully completed degree at TU Wien is the ideal basis for a career in business, administration, research and teaching. The internationally oriented Academy forContinuing Education (ACE) at TU Wien forms the interface between technology and business with its wide range of programs. One focus is on practice-oriented continuing education in the field of real estate. This high-quality education at university level was developed in the late 1980s on the initiative of the real estate industry and has now been offered for around 35 years - so it can draw on an enormous wealth of experience.

The university course "Real Estate Management" offers participants a qualification that enables them to independently solve all issues relating to residential and commercial real estate. In just four semesters, expert lecturers provide students with all the tools they need for a successful career in the real estate industry. Teaching takes place in small groups of a maximum of 30 students - this allows for a certain degree of interactivity, plenty of space and time for discussion and the lecturers can respond individually to students' questions and concerns.

For the majority of participants, the prospect of future self-employment represents a particularly attractive career path. After successfully completing the course, students are granted a business license, provided they have the necessary practical experience.

As part of this university course, the KURIER (Newspaper) is once again awarding a scholarship of EUR 10,700 this year, thus enabling a scholarship holder from the real estate sector to continue their education at university level and perfect their specialist knowledge in the real estate sector. Through this special sponsorship, KURIER contributes to the training of excellently trained real estate trustees in Austria.
