IET is running - again!

The Institute of Energy Systems and Thermodynamics successfully participates in the 41st Vienna City Marathon with six relay teams.

Highly motivated, the relay teams set off on Sunday, April 21st in cold but fortunately dry weather. No cold feet, not even at 42.195 km, because together as a team you can achieve a lot, in addition to research projects, publications and much more, including a marathon. The 24 runners from the institute were successfully among the 37,633 finishers over the weekend. The teams masterfully used the experience of one or the other from the previous year, when the IET took part with nine relay teams.

The success was celebrated in the Uni Sport Austria tent with Kaiserschmarrn and drinks. The IET teams will definitely be back next year when the motto is: "On your marks, ready set, go".
