Global Wind Day June 15, 2020

Every year on June 15, numerous companies, associations and NGOs in the energy sector are celebrating the Global Wind Day.

On Global Wind Day it is time to celebrate the power of wind and its positive impact on the energy systems. Wind energy became a mainstream technology and nowadays constitutes one of the fastest growing industrial sectors with over $100 billion invested in 2015 (according to  https://globalwindday.org/about/, opens an external URL in a new window ).

Join the international celebration and look out for on- and offline activities in the course of Global Wind Day 2020. You will find numerous events, videos and activities helping you to discover the importance of wind energy in terms of energy transition and decarbonization.
