Women in Mathematics

The International Women in Mathematics Day on 12 May commemorates the important role of female mathematicians in their field. TU Wien interviewed six female mathematicians, two of which are at ASC.

Katharina Schuh works in the field of Analysis und Leila Taghizadeh in the field of Scientific Computing and Modelling at the ASC institute. They are two of the six female mathematicians who give us "exciting insights into mathematics and answers to the biggest misconceptions and misunderstandings of this science " in the article, opens an external URL in a new window on the news page of TU Wien.

"Paths in Maths" on 24 May from 13:30 to 16:30 is an opportunity to meet the both of them as well as other members from the Network of women in Mathematics at TU Wien. Please register for this event before 17 May.
