Researcher wanted for 3-year position about managing time-spatial flexibility in teams

At the interdisciplinary Institute of Management Science of the TU Wien, a pre-doc position (30 hours) is available at the Department of Labour Science and Organization – starting as soon as possible for 3 years.

The project addresses the increased prevalence of hybrid work, which has tremendously changed teamwork. In our project we study how time-spatial flexibility can be best managed in order to exploit the advantages and minimize the disadvantages. In more detail, we investigate the impact of team rules on work performance and health by conducting a large-scale randomized controlled trial with work teams.

Although the new team member will work in Vienna (supervised by Dr. Martina Hartner-Tiefenthaler), they will closely collaborate with Prof. Stephan Böhm, opens an external URL in a new window and his team from the University of St. Gallen.
