Prize for the best diploma work of the City of Vienna for thesis on Thz- QC- Detector!

The annual prize for the best diploma work goes to Stefan Schwarz for his thesis on "Resonant Terahertz Quantum Cascade Detector". Congratulations!

In his thesis Stefan Schwarz has investigated a novel detector sytem based on quantum cascade structures. He could show that quantum cascade structures possess a resonant detector system in the Terahertz frequency range which could be used to build stacked laser-detector-structures in the future.
