Award ceremony of the Construction Technology Prize (all prize winners) during the Construction Congress 2024 at the Austria Center Vienna

The Austrian Construction Technology Association (Österreichische Bautechnik Vereinigung, ÖBV) hosted the renowned Construction Congress 2024 at the Austria Center Vienna from 25 to 26 April 2024. Three awards for students at Austrian universities and universities of applied sciences were presented in front of an audience of more than 2,000 experts at this event. Nathalie Sagasser's outstanding diploma thesis at the Institute of Geotechnics at TU Wien on the topic of "Geothermal utilization of a bored pile wall in the Lainzer Tunnel – Numerical modeling, comparison with measurements and fundamental influences on the structural design, opens an external URL in a new window" won out against numerous applicants and was awarded first prize. This work was thus honoured as the best submitted work with practical relevance in civil engineering in the last two years. The invitation was extended to all construction faculties at Austrian universities and universities of applied sciences.
