Distance learning has increased demand for digital content. TU Wien Bibliothek has licensed access to the following new resources:

Audio/video and learning materials

JoVE Science Education, opens an external URL in a new window: video collection teaching laboratory fundamentals through simple, easy to understand video lessons. Licensed modules:  Basic Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics

OnArchitecture, opens an external URL in a new window: online library of 450 original architecture-related videos intended to support architectural and design education

Pidgeon Digital, opens an external URL in a new window: audiovisual collection of illustrated talks by well-known architects and related designers

Physik Online, opens an external URL in a new window: detailed lectures on the entire curriculum of physics, from elementary foundations to further specialized fields

Journals, newspapers and e-books

PressReader, opens an external URL in a new window: press portal containing over 7000 newspapers and periodicals from 120 countries

AIP Scitation, opens an external URL in a new window: access to current journals of the American Institute of Physics, including the option to publish open access without additional costs

Elsevier - Science Direct, opens an external URL in a new window: access to more than 2350 current Elsevier journals, including the option to publish open access without additional costs

VDI eLibrary, opens an external URL in a new window: engineering portal offering access to technical content from VDI Verlag and VDI Fachmedien (journals and e-books)
