Doctoral Stammtisch for doctoral candidates at TU Wien

TU Wien is inviting all doctoral students to a “Stammtisch Doktorat” (doctoral round table). The monthly meeting offers an opportunity to exchange ideas, make contacts, and learn about the wide range of support services offered by the university.

Many doctoral students face similar challenges—especially those who have recently moved to Vienna and joined TU Wien to pursue their doctoral studies. They are active in different research groups, which makes it difficult for them to exchange ideas and be accessible as a group. To counteract this, Student Support, Human Resources Development, the International Welcome Engagement Center, the Doctoral Center, and the Doctoral Student Council have jointly developed the format of the “Doctoral Stammtisch”.

The Doctoral Stammtisch takes place once a month on Wednesdays. Representatives from various support services will be available on site to answer questions and hold personal discussions. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

April:

Interested doctoral students are welcome to drop by; registration for the regulars' table is not necessary.
