Interactive computing for teaching and research with Jupyter
Workshop
Participants will gain hands-on experience creating and working with Jupyter notebooks, explore best practices for reproducible research and interactive teaching. The workshop will also introduce the TU-hosted Jupyter infrastructure provided by DataLab, including available resources, workflows, and services that support computational teaching and research at the university.
No prior experience with Jupyter is required, although basic familiarity with programming is helpful.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Integrate code, text, and visualisations in interactive documents.
- Design notebook-centred learning experiences for students.
- Document and communicate research workflows transparently.
- Publish, share, and collaborate using Jupyter-based tools.
Instructors:
Florian Jäger and Nadja Jovancevic
Campus IT, Service Unit of High Performance Computing (dataLab)
