Doing Paradigm Shift

Information Event

In this event, we will discuss the concept of paradigm shift and its implications for researchers applying for funding.

Speaker:

Dr. Till Hartwig | TUW

Agenda:

The term paradigm shift has become one of the most prominent buzzwords in today’s science funding landscape – especially when it comes to collaborative research projects, which often involve inter- and transdisciplinary approaches.

However, for many of us it remains completely unclear, what this term actually refers to:

  • What does it mean and which expectations does it raise?
  • Why is it so important?
  • And how can it be used efficiently to strengthen proposals?

These and other questions will be discussed together with the participants, taking into account current calls for proposals, developments in science policiy and discussions on science communication.

The event will take place in hybrid mode.

There are 15 on-site spots available.

If you register for this event and choose the on-site option, please make sure to cancel your registration in time if you can’t attend. This allows others on the waiting list to take your place — thank you for your fairness and consideration.

Participants who answer the mandatory registration question (“I prefer to attend on site”) with “No” will automatically be placed on the waiting list.

For everyone who prefers to join online or is on the waiting list, we’ll share the ZOOM link in advance, and it will also be published on the event page.
