(Cancelled) Dealing with Heat at Workplaces – Best Practices

Presentation

Due to illness the expert talk is cancelled!

High temperatures can be a major problem in the workplace. When outside temperatures soar like they did in Europe this summer, heat leads to a loss of concentration and increased tiredness, which means that workers and employees are more likely to make mistakes. Heat at work can also aggravate medical conditions and illnesses such as high blood pressure or heart disease due to increased load on the heart.

In this 40min. Expert Talk you will hear about methods and strategies on how to manage office facilities in summer and avoid high temperatures at work.

Prof. Dr. Alexander Redlein is an Austrian Researcher in the field of Real Estate and Facility Management with focus on Facility Management in Europe, CSR, Risk Management and Sustainability. He is also the Academic Director of the Executive MBA Modern Workplace and Facility Management.

After the Expert Talk you will also be informed about your study options and the Executive MBA Modern Workplace and Facility Management by the program team in Vienna.
