Online Renewable Energy Talk: Renewables in Transport

Fire side evening

The Renewable Energy Talks serve to discuss recent topics and trends in the renewable energy sector with experts in their respective fields. They also are great events for networking and getting to know fellow students and alumni of the MSc Renewable Energy Systems..

Renewables in Transport
Transport is the sector with the highest growth rates in CO2-emissions and the lowest shares of renewable energy. Strong efforts are necessary to bring this sector in line with the energy transition goals towards a sustainable energy system. The major objective of this event is to identify the prospects for transport fuels from biomass, electricity and hydrogen.

Experts contributing with short presentations are:

  • Amela Ajanovic (Energy Economics Group, TU Wien)
  • Gerfried Jungmeier (Joanneum Graz)
  • Theresia Vogel (Klima- und Energiefonds)

The talk is chaired by Academic Director Reinhard Haas (TU Wien).

The Renewable Energy Talks are an extracurricular event in the course of the MSc Renewable Energy Systems, jointly operated by TU Wien and Energiepark Bruck/Leitha.
