Pasquale Alex Chiaramonte obtained his Bachelor's and master's degrees in chemistry from the University of Calabria, where he specialized in Chemistry for Environment and Health. He is currently a PhD researcher at TU Wien. His research focuses on the development, characterization, and mechanistic study of novel catalysts within the framework of green chemistry, with the aim of designing more sustainable chemical processes.

Mahmoud Maleki received his M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Institute of Chemical, Environmental and Bioscience Engineering at TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology), Austria. He is a member of the Research Group for Sustainable Use of Natural Resources led by Assistant Prof. Irina Delidovich and is involved in an FWF-funded research project focusing on Basic catalysts for the efficient isomerization of glucose. His research focuses on glucose isomerization, heterogeneous catalysis and process design, particularly the development of advanced catalytic systems for efficient glucose isomerization in continuous system. His broader research interests include catalyst and materials design, reaction kinetics, CO₂ capture and utilization, renewable energy technologies, solar energy harvesting, and biofuel production. His work aims to contribute to the development of sustainable chemical processes and resource-efficient technologies within the framework of energy and green chemistry concepts.
