Prof. Irina Delidovich graduated with honors in Chemistry from Novosibirsk State University in 2008 and earned her doctoral degree in Chemistry from the Boreskov Institute of Catalysis in 2011.

From 2012 to 2016, she conducted postdoctoral research at RWTH Aachen University, where she subsequently served as a group leader from 2016 to 2021. In 2021, she joined TU Wien, Institute of Chemical, Environmental and Bioscience Engineering, as a tenure-track Assistant Professor. She completed her Habilitation in Sustainable Chemistry of Renewable Resources in 2024. In 2025, she assumed leadership of the Research Group for Sustainable Use of Natural Resources.

Prof. Delidovich has received numerous distinctions for her scientific achievements, including the Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers awarded by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and the Bayer Foundation (2013), the RWTH Start-Up Scholarship (2016), and the Max Buchner Research Fellowship (2017), among other honors.
