Technical Chemistry (Master)
The Master’s programme “Technische Chemie” (hereafter: "Technical Chemistry") provides an in-depth, scientifically and methodologically rigorous education which not only paves the way for graduates to pursue further scientific and technical qualifications – for example, through a relevant doctoral programme – but also equips them for careers, particularly in the chemical industry and in all sectors where chemical processes play a significant role, whilst ensuring they are internationally competitive. Depending on the specialisation block selected, graduates of the master's programme Technical Chemistry will acquire a broad-based appreciation of chemical, technical environmental or biochemical/biotechnical principles and their deployment in technological and industrial fields, as well as well-grounded skills in the strategies, technologies, materials and methods applicable to the relevant field of (bio)chemical production.
