Microelectronics is the fundamental technology of our information society. All modern communication and information technology systems, as well as automation components, consumer electronics, automotive technology, and aerospace and technical medicine, are based on this technology. This master's programme, which combines microelectronics with optical technologies, is unique in the German-speaking world. It provides a comprehensive education in the physical principles of electronic components, their simulation and manufacture, and laser technology.
