Master's Programmes in Civil and Environmental Engineering
The Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering administers the two master’s degree programmes after which the faculty is named. Civil and environmental engineers analyse, understand, design, calculate, plan and operate systems within the interplay between the natural and built environments, whilst taking on long-term social, technical, ecological and economic responsibilities. The Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at TU Wien combines research and teaching at the highest level. It trains the engineers of tomorrow to become leaders and advises decision-makers on issues of societal importance. In this way, civil and environmental engineers make a significant contribution to improving our quality of life and shaping a sustainable environment in rapidly changing world.
