As part of the CHANGER , opens an external URL in a new windowproject, we held a large multi-part week of events from January 27 to 31, 2025. The topic and content were questions around research ethics and research integrity, as well as the integration of responsible research practices in and along the entire research process. Central to this is the role of ethics committees (RECs). A consortium consisting of representatives from leading European institutions and faculties discussed their objectives, orientation and procedural structure against the background of constantly changing and developing scientific, socio-political and economic situations.
