Lions Sponsorship 2025

In 2025, the Lions Sponsorship Award was presented for the eleventh time. The 13 submissions from six faculties at TU Wien were evaluated by a jury consisting of representatives from the Lions Club (Dr Martin Riester, Dr Johannes Rosner and Dr Herbert Hochegger) and TU Wien (Prof. Franz Winter, Prof. Azra Korjenic and Dr Gudrun Weinwurm).

The Lions Sponsorship Award 2025 was awarded to Ms Laura Kronlachner from the Research Group Surface Analytics, Trace Analytics and Chemometry for her dissertation topic ‘Advanced characterisation of engineered materials using laser ablation in combination with dedicated detection methods
