This work package evaluates existing conservation approaches and develops improved strategies for the treatment of copper surfaces. Cleaning methods, patina modification, and stabilization techniques are tested on both historical and reference materials. The goal is to establish sustainable, reversible, and ethically sound conservation practices that respect both material integrity and historical authenticity.
