TU Wien NMR Center

The TU Wien NMR center comprises all nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers at the Faculty of Technical Chemistry. The center has been established in the framework of a joint HRSM project with University of Vienna ("NMR-Verbund Uni Wien / TU Wien"). Funding for further instrumentation was provided by TU Wien and WWTF; several spectrometers were contributed by institutes of the faculty.

The center is directly subordinated to the Vice Rector for Research and Innovation and managed by Dr. Christian Hametner (christian.hametner@tuwien.ac.at). Measurements at the center's spectrometers, located at campus Getreidemarkt, range from everyday routine analyses to working on complex problems within international research projects; requests from outside of the TU Wien are equally welcome.
