Best Practice Workshop: Prozesse verstehen und verbessern mit Datenanalyse und KI

Information Event

Aktuelle Forschung zu datengetriebenen Verbesserungen von Arbeitsprozessen: In diesem interaktiven Workshop werden Lösungsansätze für Probleme der Wirtschaft anhand von Praxisberichten zu Risiken und Erfolgsfaktoren diskutiert.

Wirtschaftliche und demographische Trends erhöhen den Druck auf bestehende Schwachstellen in der Arbeitswelt: Informationssilos, fehlendes Prozessverständnis, mangelnde Datenqualität, Wissensverlust durch ungeeignetes Onboarding von neuem Personal und Risiken in der IT-Sicherheit gehören zu den größten Schmerzpunkten. Gleichzeitig bietet die Digitalisierung von Prozessen und der Einsatz Künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) enorme Chancen zur Effizienzsteigerung und Qualitätsverbesserung. Doch wie gelingt ein erfolgreiches Digitalisierungsprojekt?

Digitalisierungsprojekte fokussieren oft auf Technologie, scheitern aber am unzureichenden Verständnis von Prozessen, mangelnder Datenqualität oder fehlender Unterstützung der Verbesserungen durch Fachexpert:innen und Management. Unklare Ziele, unrealistische Erwartungen und unzureichendes Management von Ressourcen und Prioritäten gehören zu den typischen Projektrisiken.

Erfolgreiche Projekte erfordern ausreichende Fähigkeiten in den Bereichen Technologie, Prozesse und Zusammenarbeit von Menschen und Maschinen.

Wissenschaftliche Arbeiten aus Information Systems Engineering (ISE), Data Analytics und Artificial Intelligence zeigen in diesem anwendungsorientierten Workshop Wege auf, wie verschiedensten Herausforderungen in der Arbeitswelt begegnet werden kann.

Forschende der TU Wien stellen praxisnahe Lösungsansätze für typische/aktuelle Herausforderungen vor.
