Confocal/micro-XRF spectrometer with monochromatic excitation

The XRF spectrometer is equivalent to a fully protective system and consists of an X-ray generator, a control element for status display and tube window/shutter control, as well as an interlocked housing for the measurement setup, in which the radiation source, monochromator, X-ray optics, sample and detector are located. The sample is on a motorized stage. The radiation source in standard operation is a water-cooled fine-focus tube with molybdenum anode, 2 kW maximum power and max. 60 kV operating voltage
