Dipl.-Ing. Dr. techn. Rainer Riegler
Rainer Riegler has been working as a project assistant in the field of mechanical engineering and virtual product development at the Institute for Engineering Sciences and Technical Logistics since April 2017.
Prior to this, he studied mechanical engineering at the TU Wien from 2011 to 2016 with a focus on numerical methods of mechanics and continuum mechanics and completed his studies with the diploma thesis "Expansion of a software for the calculation of screw machines".
From 2011 to 2015 he worked as a designer for ANDRITZ PULP & PAPER.
Prior to his studies, he attended the HTL Hollabrunn for mechanical and plant engineering, which he completed with a diploma thesis on the construction of the chassis of an electric motorcycle to reach the top speed world record.
Mr Riegler is currently focusing on the numerical simulation of screw compressors.
Implementation of new calculation algorithms for the treatment of multiple notches in DIN743, load capacity calculation for shafts and axes in a platform-independent software.
