What About Equality?

Open Forum

Information event on the study “What About Equality?”

How are gender equality, diversity, and discrimination perceived within our faculty? What challenges arise in everyday academic and professional life, and what changes are needed? These questions were explored by femTUme through the first faculty-wide survey on gender equality.

We would now like to present the findings of the study and discuss them together. All members of the faculty and the university community are warmly invited to attend the event, share their perspectives, and participate in the discussion on possible future developments and measures.

Program

  • 9:00 a.m. – Welcome
  • 9:15 a.m. – Presentation of the survey results
  • 9:45 a.m. – Panel discussion on the findings and future directions
  • from 12:00 p.m. – Networking and buffet lunch

The panel discussion will feature:

  • Christian Bauer – Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering
  • Brigitte Ratzer – Gender Equality Office, TU Wien
  • Sabine Seidler – Former Rector of TU Wien and alternate faculty representative in the Committee on Equal Treatment (AKG)
  • Marvin Kleinlehner – HTU Board Team

The event will be moderated by Ruth Picker (facilitator and organizational developer, www.ruthpicker.at, opens an external URL in a new window).
