3 tips for relaxed learning
Fairness with the study break card
On some days, the library can be quite crowded. It is not pleasant to be looking for a free study desk and find that large numbers of unoccupied desks are reserved for hours. With that in mind, the general procedure is as follows: a desk can be reserved for a maximum of 30 minutes with a study break card. After 30 minutes, other people are allowed to use the desk. The same applies if a desk has not been reserved with a study break card. Study break cards are available from the initial consultation desk on the 1st floor or from the circulation desk on the ground floor.
Please return the study break card to the circulation desk when leaving the library.
Quiet and group study zones
Most people come to the library to learn in a quiet environment in a focused atmosphere. For most of our reading areas, the following applies: Psst! Please be quiet! Quiet zones can be found in the reading areas on the 2nd to the 4th floor.
Teamwork is part of learning. The entire 5th floor is available for group work and there are also areas for group work on the 1st floor.
Please do not leave any valuables unattended at your study desk.
