Open access, free of charge: self-archiving. How to publish open access via a repository (EN)

Workshop

An overview will be given of the most important issues regarding green open access and you will learn how to make your publication freely available via a repository.

You previously published your papers closed access and now would like to make them freely available online? You sympathize with the basic principle of open access but would prefer not to pay any publication charges? Your funder has informed you that you retrospectively have to make your research open access?

In this training session, an overview will be given of the most important issues regarding green open access (author’s agreements, exploitation rights, self-archiving), and you will learn how to make your publication freely available via a repository. Following this introduction, the group will have a look at examples from the participants' publication lists.

Please bring a laptop. The workshop is held in English.
No prior knowledge about open access is needed.
