REvaluation – podcast on the future of research policy

The new podcast of the “fteval” platform covers topics around research policy and its evaluation, as well as interesting interviews.

The “Revaluation” podcast of the Austrian Platform for Research and Technology Policy Evaluation (fteval), opens an external URL in a new window has been launched. The first episode, opens an external URL in a new window appeared on 02 December 2022 and deals with the keynote speech of Luke Georghiou, opens an external URL in a new window (University of Manchester) on implementing the Sustainable Development Goals at universities. The episode can be accessed via all common podcast directories or via an internet browser, opens an external URL in a new window.

Over the coming weeks, additional episodes will be published and will remain available on a long-term basis. The makers place particular value on the exchange of experiences and discussion within the evaluation community as a follow-up to interesting lectures and events. In addition, interviews with exciting guests are planned. Over the next weeks, podcast episodes on the following topics are scheduled:

Episode 2: Podium discussion by “Research Evaluation” on the question of how research evaluation has changed since the pandemic – 09 December 2022

Episode 3: Lecture by Jürgen Janger (WIFO) on the memorandum of understanding on principles of research integrity for commissioned studies, initiated by WIFO together with IHS, including discussion of compliance – 16 December 2022
