Course "Scientific Work: Data Visualisation in Virtual and Augmented Reality"

Use visualisations to improve your understanding of data and gain new insights.

"Scientific Work: Data Visualisation in Virtual and Augmented Reality" is a seminar in the Transferable Skills course portfolio for the summer semester 2021.

The seminar provides TU Wien master and doctoral students with a good overview of visualisation technologies and shows how data in virtual reality and augmented reality can be used in scientific research. Participants can bring their own data or use data from the library.

After a two-day introductory course - held in blocked form, expected 10 and 11 June 2021, online or hybrid - a hands-on workshop will be held at TU Wien Bibliothek’s Data Visualisation Lab - date to be announced.

In addition, a Design Studio course in the summer semester 2020, opens an external URL in a new window of the Japan Austria Science Exchange Scenter included teaching digital competences for VR and AR.
