The EST is put in place for the case that the applicants wish to propose their own research project. During the discussion between the applicant and the selected supervisor the EST will be present to discuss potential ethical issues that the applicants might encounter when proposing their own research projects. The EST will be active during the recruitment procedure until all ESRs are recruited and the description of their research projects is finalized.
