Microfluidic Multimodal 3D Bioelectric Sensor Platform for Disease Modeling and Monitoring
Recent advances in planar biosensors have transformed biotechnology and opened new possibilities for monitoring neurodegenerative diseases. However, detecting signals from complex 3D biological systems such as organoids requires the development of three-dimensional sensor architectures.
Using advanced 3D printing, we will design and fabricate scalable multi-well sensor arrays enabling integrated, multi-modal measurements of impedance, electrical potentials, and optical signals.
The project aims to develop, test, and validate a novel multi-modal 3D biosensor platform for organoid research and broader biotechnological applications.
